National Guard units in Tunisia
Tunis - Hayat Al Ghanemi

National Guard units in Tunisia carried out a combing operation in a joint patrol in Jabal al-Salloum after receiving testimony from two sheep shepherds over an assault carried out against them by five gunmen accompanied by a young man between the ages of 20 and 23.

Sources told “Arabs Today” that they have been beaten and violently assaulted by terrorists in the framework of the attempt aiming to rob the sheep that were in their possession in the area of Ain Al-Nuba of Jabal Al Salloum. They added, “When one of them tried to stop them from taking two sheep, he was beaten with Kalashnikov weapon.”

According to the same security sources, no terrorist elements were found at the scene, while it is not the first time that shepherds have been attacked in order to rob their sheep. In the same area, a child called Mabrok Sultani was killed by terrorists in a brutal way, as the terrorists severed his head and asked his cousin to deliver the severed head to his family.

In another incident, terrorists attacked one of the shepherds, causing him fractures at the lower vertebrae and stole his sheep. The victim was transferred to the hospital to receive treatment. Also Terrorists kidnapped another shepherd near Mount Samama "in Kasserine State, kept him two days and then released him after they had stolen his sheep and agreed to provide them with information about Tunisian security personnel
