Luxor governor Mohamed Badr met on Thursday with a Chinese delegation to discuss tourism issues and cultural cooperation.
Badr said, during the meeting, that he tackled increase in number of Chinese tourists visiting Luxor as a favorite destination for them, noting that there is necessity to operate airline between Guangdong and Luxor.
He also added that guide signs in archaeological areas will be translated into the Chinese language during this year.
For his side, the Chinese delegation headed by Chairman of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) of Guangdong Committee Wang Rong, said that the aim of this visit is to boost bilateral relations and listen to opinions and suggestions of the Egyptian Side.
