King Abdullah II of Jordan on Wednesday discussed with Singapore's Defense Minister Ng Eng Hen, means to boost cooperation between Jordan and Singapore, mainly in the military fields as well as the latest developments in the region, said the Jordanian Petra news agency.
The King and Singaporean minister stressed the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to fight terrorism within a comprehensive strategy. His Majesty warned against Islamophobia which helps extremists use such fears to feed their terrorist agendas.
The meeting was attended by the Royal Court chief, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, the director of the King's Office and the delegation accompanying the Singaporean minister.
