Ministry of Manpower announced that Prime Minister Sherif Ismail will inaugurate on Monday a national conference on cotton farming and upgrading the weaving and textile industry.

The conference, held under the auspices of the premier, is organized by the Egyptian Union of Investors in cooperation with the Egyptian Trade Unions Federation (ETUF), the Ministry of Manpower, the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Public Business Sector.

In a statement released on Saturday, Minister of Manpower Mohammad Saafan said the conference will start with a display of a movie on the weaving and textile industry since its beginning in early 1900s.
