Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Doseri, received at his office at the Ministry's General Court today, the Director of the Office of International Labour Affairs at the US Department of State, Steve Moody, and the Foreign Affairs Officer of the US Department of State Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, Angelo Maestas.
The Assistant Foreign Minister praised historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, which are always witnessing progress and prosperity in various fields, including bilateral cooperation in the field of human rights and combating trafficking in persons, in light of the Kingdom's pioneering experience in this field.
Mr. Moody praised the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries at all levels, and the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its keenness to promote human rights and foreign labor and combat trafficking in persons, expressing his aspiration to enhance this cooperation for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.
