His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received an invitation from President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, to participate in the first summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation for Science and Technology (COMSTECH), scheduled to be held from 10 to 11 September 2017, in the Kazakhstani capital Astana.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received at his office today the invitation from Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Bakhit Batyrshaev.
The minister welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan and reviewed the existing friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Kazakhstan and means of enhancing them and advancing cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields.
He also stressed the importance of enhancing common coordination frameworks in all forums to achieve the common interests of the two friendly countries, commending the great efforts of ambassador and wishing him further success.
The Kazakh envoy expressed the pride of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the distinguished bilateral relations with the
Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing their constant keenness to develop these relations for wider horizons, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued prosperity and progress.
