King Abdullah II of Jordan, accompanied by Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah, left for Ottawa on an official visit to Canada on Monday.
During the visit, King Abdullah will hold talks with Governor General of Canada David Johnston and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to discuss means of boosting cooperation between the two countries.
As well, they will tackle the latest regional and international developments.
Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent in the presence of Cabinet members, Jordan News Agency Petra reported.
