Egyptian Military Attache to France Colonel Ayman Mokadem on Wednesday lauded relations between Egypt and France and joint cooperation in fighting terrorism.
The remark was made at a ceremony held by the Egyptian military office here on the occasion marking the 44th anniversary of the October War victory.
Attending the event were Egyptian Minister of Higher Education Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and Egyptian candidate to the UNESCO director general post Mushira Khattab along with several Arab and foreign senior officials.
Mokadem underlined the importance of these relations that helped enhance joint military cooperation that were represented in arms deals between both sides over the past few years.
He confirmed that October War victory attested to the fact that the Egyptian people are capable to overcome all challenges and difficulties through extending great sacrifices for the sake of the homeland.
