Manama - Arab Today

Dean of Diplomatic Corps and the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain, Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah, has congratulated His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa on being granted the Arab Development Work Leadership Shield by the Arab League.
The ambassador asserted that HRH the Prime Minister was honoured in tribute for the great and pioneering role he has played in the development and progress boom currently witnessed by the kingdom, adding that the honouring reflects the success of the Bahraini comprehensive sustainable development model which, he said, has been admired by many international and regional institutions, being an example to be emulated.
HRH Premier was selected by the Arab League for being among the most important high-profile leaders who encourage joint Arab action, as well as for his great contributions to development and humanitarian issues, he said.
The ambassador added that the shied adds to the series of awards conferred on HRH Premier by international and regional development institutions, noting that the Prime Minister is an Arab and international model who deserves honouring.
