The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged the international community anew to shoulder its moral and legal responsibilities toward ending the Israeli occupation.
In a statement on Tuesday, the ministry said this would entail the adoption of the UN resolutions and practical steps to end the suffering of the Palestinian people and stop settlement activities in the Palestinian lands, according to Palestinian news agency (Wafa).
The ministry said "Today, the Palestinians and the world celebrate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, which coincides with the annual anniversary of UN General Assembly Resolution No. 181 for 1947, known as partition decision."
