The Capital is ready to mark the end of the Ramadan month with an array of activities to welcome hundreds of tourists. As part of preparations, Abu Dhabi Municipality is adorning the streets with thousands of flowers. Malls and towers are all ready to switch Ramadan Kareem lightings with Eid Mubarak.
Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority director-general Saif Saeed Ghobash said that Eid holidays are the perfect time to enjoy the Capital's world-class family-friendly leisure and cultural activities.
"We appreciate our partners for their cooperation in bringing a spectacular array of top-tier events and entertainment to Abu Dhabi, ensuring that the emirate is the ideal destination of choice during this time of the year."
Lighting up the sky will be Yas Marina fireworks from 9pm on Eid Al Fitr, that will be visible from the seven restaurants of Yas Marina as well as night boat cruises. Adventure lovers can enjoy free entry to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi from 6pm to 11am on June 26. Among the top shopping attractions is the 24-hour mega sale at Yas Mall from 10am on June 25.
Events at malls will see The Galleria host local artists and performers. An Ayyalah band will perform daily throughout Eid, highlighting Emirati culture. Marina Mall visitors can enjoy a four-day entertainment with Dora the explorer's friendship fiesta and Dora's rainforest maze.
Those going to Al Wahda Mall can experience the Pirates of the Arabia, the floating tanoura and Arabic Dabke dance. Dalma Mall will hold live performance of Alice in Wonderland and also have an interactive kids' arts corners, Lego City workshops and live traditional tanoura dance shows.
