The Arab League will hold an emergency ministerial meeting on Thursday at the request of Jordan to discuss the Israeli recent attacks and measures against Al Quds and Al Aqsa mosque.
AL Assistant Secretary General for Palestine and the occupied Arab territories Affairs Saed Abu Ali said that the meeting comes within the framework of pan-Arab endeavors to confront the unprecedented Israeli measures in Al Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Abu Ali stated that the Arab League rejects any change to the historical and legal status of Al Quds, pointing out that the meeting will work towards rescinding the Israeli measures and ensuring their non-recurrence.
He also said that the AL's general secretariat prepared draft resolutions and a memorandum that include a number of measures to deal with Israel in case it continues to be intransigent.
