Labour and Social Development Ministry Assistant Undersecretary Shaikha Aisha bint Ali Al-Khalifa received Libyan Ambassador Fawzi Taher Abdula’ali and briefed him about Bahrain’s social care and rehabilitation for people with physical disabilities, as part of pan-Arab cooperation.
She stressed the importance of exchanging expertise and successful practices in order to enhance the provision of services for people with physical disabilities.
The Assistant Undersecretary underscored the key role of community partnership between the Government and the private sector to meet the needs of the category of people with physical disabilities and enable them to contribute to building their nation and developing their society.
The Libyan diplomat commended the standard of Government and private services which are provided for people with special needs, hailing Bahrain’s pioneering services to integrate the disabled into society.
