Minister of Defense and Military Production Sedki Sobhi met with Head of the Jordanian Joint Chiefs of Staff, Lt. General Mahmoud Abdel Halim Freihat along with his accompanying delegation.
The meeting dealt with the latest regional developments along with the efforts exerted by Egypt and Jordan to promote joint cooperation and confront the current challenges besetting the region.
Earlier, Chief of Staff of the Armed Mahmoud Hegazy met with Freihat, during which they discussed a host of issues of mutual interest along with ways of promoting military cooperation and joint training.
Freihat, for his part, hailed Egypt's efforts in combating terrorism and extremism along with its crucial role in entrenching security and stability in the region.
The meeting was attended by a host of the Armed Forces leaderships along with the Jordanian ambassador to Egypt.
