The Egyptian committee concerned with Libya under Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy met Sunday Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, commander of the Libyan National Army, to discuss efforts exerted so far and the outcome of Paris talks to end the political stalemate in Libya.
The meeting comes as part of the Egyptian efforts aimed at solving the Libyan crisis.
Also, the two sides asserted the importance of making good use of positive results achieved to reach an all-out political settlement that could contribute to bringing about aspirations of the Libyan people.
For his part, Haftar expressed his appreciation of the Egyptian efforts exerted to help achieve national reconciliation in the country.
Furthermore, Hegazy praised anti-terror efforts in the North African country, underlining the importance of uniting efforts and coordinating visions in this regard to wipe out extremism.
