Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa hailed the keynote speech, which was delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa at the opening of the 4th session of the 4th legislative term.
“The royal speech addressed key issues which contribute to achieving further development and progress in the prosperous era of HM the King”, he said as he hosted his weekly majlis.
He commended the efforts of the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, hailing landmark achievements which have a direct positive impact on living standards.
He reiterated the Southern Governorate’s resolve step up cooperation with the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives to maintain landmark achievements.
The weekly majlis was attended by Public Security Chief Major-General Tarak Hassan Al-Hassan, Shura Council members, Mps and other dignitaries.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa stressed the importance of implementing the directives of Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa to maintain security and stability and strengthen community partnership.
During the weekly majlis, proposals and viewpoints were discussed towards meeting citizens’ needs. The attendees paid tribute to HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, hailing his dedicated efforts and commended officials at the Southern Governorate for their cooperation.
