Houthis militias have been trapped in Hajjah governorate at Midi district in southwestern Sanaa, Yemeni national army announced Saturday.
Militias have planted a large number of mines in Midi and Harad districts along with nearby countryside, Al Arabiya Alhadath quoted the Yemeni army as saying.
The Yemeni army added that national forces in turn cut lines of supply in order not to reach the militias' outputs in Midi district.
Saudi led coalition's aircrafts conducted intensified raids on militias' outputs in Taiz while National forces preceded in western Taiz, the Yemeni army further added.
