Prime Minister Sherif Ismail will leave for Jordan Thursday to co-chair a meeting of the joint committee with his Jordanian counterpart Hany al Mulqi.
The committee will tackle efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of joint projects, investments and small and medium-sized industries, as well as exports.
The joint committee will also discuss the implementation of recommendations of its previous meeting, which was held in Cairo in August 2016.
The two sides are expected to sign a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding at the end of the committee meeting.
Also on the agenda of the meeting will be cooperation between Cairo and Amman in the fields of agriculture, labor, electric energy and land transport.
