Manpower Minister Mohammad Saafan on Sunday ordered Labor Councelor at the Egyptian Embassy in Beirut to swiftly end travel measures of an Egyptian worker whose body was charred at a wood factory fire in Beirut.
In a statement released on Sunday, Saafan said he received an urgent report from the Egyptian Embassy Labor Counselor Adel Dawoud on an Egyptian worker who died in a fire that broke out in a wood factory in Al Fanar district in Beirut.
The report said the Egyptian Embassy will take all necessary measures to fly home the body to be buried after informing his family.
The labor counselor said all financial dues of the deceased worker will be paid to his family.
