Libya's Foreign Affairs Minister Mohamed Taher Siala discussed in a meeting with Italian Ambassador to Libya Giuseppe Perrone ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in various fields.
During the meeting, Siala and Perrone touched on the contribution of Italian companies to renovating Tripoli International Airport and Mitiga International Airport during the coming period, in addition to resuming flights between the two countries.
Also, the Italian diplomat hailed efforts exerted by the Libyan Presidential Council and the UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) to maintain security and stability in the Libyan capital, Tripoli.
