The National Society for Human Rights in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is following up the occasional allegations made by the Qatari National Human Rights Committee regarding purported violation of the rights of visitors and other Qatari citizens in the Kingdom.
While it categorically denies them, the society wishes to recall and affirm that it had already verified that the competent authorities in the Kingdom are implementing the royal orders to enable visitors and others of the Qatari nationality who need to enter or leave the Kingdom to exercise their rights in full within the framework of the applicable regulations in force in this regard, in addition to the existence of a special committee to consider and deal with the emergency humanitarian situations.
The society affirms that these instructions, procedures and humanitarian steps taken by the competent authorities in the Kingdom preserve and safeguard the rights of all, including visiting Qatari nationals and others and hopes that those Qatari citizens who have complaints will communicate with it to consider and deal with their complaints in accordance with applicable regulations, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA reported).
