Yemeni Foreign Minister Abdul Malik al-Mekhlafi discussed Thursday with Egypt’s Ambassador to Yemen Youssef el Sharqawi means of boosting bilateral ties.
On behalf of the Yemeni political leadership, Al-Mekhlafi thanked the Egyptian government and people for their stance in support of legitimacy, as well as Cairo's active role in the Arab coalition forces, defending the legitimacy in Yemen.
The meeting touched on the latest developments in Yemen and the government’s efforts to establish peace there and provide the people with the services necessary to alleviate their suffering.
The Egyptian envoy said Cairo will continue to support Yemen until it restores stability and its sovereignty.
