The Palestinian national unity government condemned Thursday the recent Israeli threats to demolish more than 50 buildings and displace more than 170 residents in Susya village south of Hebron Hills.
Early May, an Israeli court issued an order to deport the population of Susya village near Yatta, south of Hebron.
The decision followed Israeli settlers' appeal to the court two months ago, demanding the displacement of Palestinian natives to expand the settlement constructed on Susya lands.
By conducting its plans, Israel would continue its blatant violation to the international humanitarian law, the Palestinian government said.
It called on the international community to assume its responsibility, according to the intentional law and Roma Statute, and force Israel to stop all its inhumane and illegal measures, such as displacing people and destroying homes.
The government urged the international community to provide protection for the Palestinians.
The village has always been targeted by Israeli occupation, and if this decision is carried out, dozens of families will be left homeless.
