Twenty-one civilians in Syria and Iraq in June in airstrikes launched by the US-led Coalition, Russia Today reported on Friday.
Since the start of the campaign against Daesh group in 2014, 624 people were "unintentionally killed", said the coalition.
"To date, based on information available, CJTF-OIR (Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve) assesses that it is more likely than not, at least 624 civilians have been unintentionally killed by the Coalition since the start of Operation Inherent Resolve," the Coalition said in a statement on Friday
The international forces said they carried over 180 open reports of possible civilian casualties from previous months and received 72 new reports resulting from Coalition airstrikes in support of partner forces operations to defeat Daesh in Iraq and Syria.
