Thirty-eight persons, including 17 elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), were killed in clashes that erupted near sites of Daesh terrorist group in al-Raqqa over the past 24 hours, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said.
The London-based observatory added that dozens were also wounded in the clashes between the SDF and militants of Daesh terrorist group in the east, west and south of the city, Al Hurra channel reported Saturday.
Meanwhile, SOHR said the Syrian forces recaptured hills located in southwestern al Sukhnah town, the last stronghold of Daesh in Homs countryside.
