The Chinese Embassy in Amman held a reception in Amman yesterday marking the 90th anniversary of the establishment of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) that was attended by a number of civil and military officials as well as military attaches of Arab and foreign embassies.
In remarks during the event, Chinese military attache Wang Shi Mao reviewed accomplishments that have been made by the PLA at the Chinese and world levels, noting that the Chinese Army took part in 24 UN peace keeping missions until mid 2017.
He also praised the role of the Jordan Armed Forces in peace keeping missions, affirming keenness to forge closer cooperation between the two sides.
