Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al Abadi called on the Syrian government to begin an investigation into the transfer of a large number of Daesh militants to the Iraqi-Syrian borders, calling this move as “unacceptable”.
In a press conference, aired by Alsumaria news channel, Al Abadi said Iraq seeks to eradicate Daesh terrorist group, asserting that there is no justification to negotiate with terrorists.
Meanwhile, he congratulated the Iraqi people on the great victory achieved in Tal Afar city, west of Nineveh province, stressing that Daesh will be eliminated soon.
“Daesh militants have no choice but to surrender or be killed,” Al Abadi noted.
