One Jordanian was killed and two others were wounded, including an Israeli, in a shooting incident on Sunday in a building within the Israeli embassy complex in Jordan's capital Amman, a statement by the Jordanian police said.
Jordan's Public Security Department (PSD) said preliminary investigations indicate that the two Jordanians had entered the embassy's compound to do carpentry work.
The statement said the PSD launched an extensive investigation into the incident and informed the Public Prosecution in order to find out all details and circumstances in accordance with legal procedures followed in such cases.
