Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov discussed in a meeting with Serbian Ambassador in Moscow Slavenko Terzic the situation in the Middle East.
The two sides have exchanged views on the latest developments in the Middle East and North Africa, notably the Syrian and Libyan crises, In addition to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
The regional crises have emerged following the Arab Spring wave that led to a sharp rise in the threat of terrorism around the world, and the high influx of illegal migrants to European countries, the statement added.
