SDF starts 2nd phase of Raqqa assault

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said that it started on Tuesday the second phase of its assault to liberate the Daesh-held city of Raqqa.
Alhurra news channel quoted sources as saying the SDF troops are ready to retake the city from Daesh militants.
On August 9, the US sent 112 trucks loaded with military equipment to the US- backed Syrian Democratic Forces in Raqqa city to help expel Daesh terrorists from the city.
