Kuwait's Ambassador to Romania Talal Al-Hajri handed in Saturday a written letter from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Melescanu.
In a statement to KUNA, Ambassador Al-Hajri said that the letter included an invitation to Minister Melescanu to visit Kuwait.
The meeting with the Romanian Minister touched on issues of mutual interest and ways to bolster relations, indicated the Kuwaiti Ambassador who added that he discussed with Melescanu the upcoming visit of Romania's Prime Minister Viorica Dancila to the State of Kuwait.
Ambassador Al-Hajri said that discussions also touched on the issue of missing Kuwaiti citizen Mohammad Al-Baghli who disappeared in Romania under mysterious circumstances in 2015.
Minister Melescanu affirmed that authorities in his country were closely following the issue to determine the whereabouts of Al-Baghli and bring him back safely to Kuwait, said Al-Hajri.
