Lebanese President Michel Aoun sent two cables of condolences to Spanish King Felipe VI and to Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy over the victims of Barcelona terrorist attack.
The attack, which occurred on Thursday, left 13 persons dead and more than a hundred injured after a suspect drove a van into crowds along a busy tourist street in Barcelona.
Meanwhile, Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri condemned the attack, expressing Lebanon's full solidarity with Spain and the Spanish people in confronting terrorism.
In the same regard, Lebanese Parliament speaker Nabih Berri sent two similar cables of condolences to Spanish Parliament speaker Ana Pastor, as well as to President of the Senate of Spain Pio Garcia-Escudero.
