Minister of Youth and Sports Khaled Abdel Aziz congratulated Sunday the women's national modern pentathlon team on winning the bronze medal in the under-19 modern pentathlon world cup in Hungary.
The Egyptian team, which came in third place, included team members Maryem Amer, Salma Ayman and Sanad Tarek won the medal after acquiring 3,749 points, coming behind the second placed Russian team who gained 3,834 points and won the silver medal.
Meanwhile, the Italian team succeeded in winning the tournament after gaining 3,858 points, which were enough to win the gold medal.
