Al-Ahly of Egypt were defeated 2-0 by Wydad Casablanca of Morocco in the CAF Champions League on Wednesday.
Fabrice Ondama scored for the hosts in minute 48. Wydad doubled their lead through Walid El Karti in the 78th minute.
Despite the defeat, Al Ahly remain on top of Group D on seven points with Zambia’s Zanaco, who will face Coton Sport of Cameroon.
Wydad sit third with six points, while Cotonsport are at the bottom of the group with zero points.
