Malaysian paralympic athletes Mohamad Ridzuan Mohamad Puzi and Mohd Nasharuddin Mohamad failed to grab a podium finish in their respective events at the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships in London, England, on Monday (Tuesday in Malaysia).
Mohamad Ridzuan, the 2016 Rio Olympics gold medallist, finished in fourth place in the men's 200m T36 (cerebral palsy), clocking 25.21 seconds in the meet held at the London Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
James Michael Turner of Australia smashed his own world record after posting 24.09 seconds to win the gold medal, which was 0.06 faster than the previous world record he set in the second heat in the event on Sunday.....
