Head Coach of the Egyptian juniors handball team Wael Abdel Aaty asserted that the team is fully ready for the competitions of the 2017 IHF Men's Junior World Championship in its the 21st edition of the tournament, due to be held in Algiers from 18 to 30 July 2017.
Interviewed by MENA on Sunday, the coach said his players are fully prepared to meet the French juniors in a match to be played on Tuesday, voicing hope for winning this match to allow his players to gain more confidence at the beginning of the competitions.
He also said all players are willing to place Egypt's name high, noting that it will be interesting to see how the players have developed since the last Men’s Youth World Championship in Russia and surely we will discover the stars of tomorrow.
The Egyptian juniors team arrived here on Thursday and will start their matches among the second group that includes France, Denmark, Slovenia, Sweden and Qatar.
This major event is a chance for the organizers to bring handball in the focus of fans, sponsors and media, he said, voicing belief that Algeria is well-prepared to be in the spotlight of the international handball family.
