Egypt's Farida Othman returned home on Tuesday after snatching the first-ever swimming World Aquatics Championship's bronze medal in the final of the women's 50-meter butterfly stroke in the tournament that was held in Budapest.
She finished third with an Africa-scale record time of 25.39s after Sarah Sjoestroem of Sweden and Ranomi Kromowidjojo of the Netherlands.
