A team of Russian security experts started on Wednesday a tour to review security measures at Cairo Airport Terminal 2.
Terminal 2 is due to be used by passengers on Russian flights when resumed.
Egypt has been implementing tight security measures at its airports since a Russian passenger flight crashed shortly after taking off from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport in October 2015, killing all on board.
Russia suspended passenger flights to Egypt shortly after the crash, and since then it has dispatched its experts for several inspections of Egyptian airport security measures in preparation for the resumption of flights.
