Gulf Air selected Thales Avant In-Flight Entertainment system for its new incoming fleet of B787-900, A320neo and A321neo totaling 39 new aircraft.
The entry into service of this new fleet started early this year with the delivery of five B787-900 and one A320neo in total by the end of 2018. All new aircraft are delivered with the latest Avant full high definition monitors and the award winning Thales Touch Passenger Media Unit installed on board for a greater passenger experience.
Gulf Air CEO Kresimir Kucko recently received the new CEO of Thales InFlyt Experience Philippe Carette and members of the company's executive management. The visit recent courtesy included discussions on various existing projects between the two organisations and familiarisation on new products offered by Thales InFlyt Experience.
In addition, Gulf Air signed an agreement in 2017 with Thales to equip the airline’s new incoming 12 Airbus A320neo and 17 A321neo aircraft with a cockpit package of Thales avionics solutions including the TopFlight Flight Management System (FMS) which remains the most successful flight management system in the world. TopFlight FMS provides pilots with highly reliable navigational information, displayed in a simple manner especially suited to heavy air traffic conditions.
