The 2nd edition of the World Businesswomen Forum and B2B Exhibition will open in Bahrain on the 13th of November.
Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of Supreme Council for Women (SCW) will patronize the three-day event, which will conclude on November 15.
The Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society is organizing the forum and exhibition under the theme “Women in the Engineering Field”.
HRH Princess Sabeeka had announced that the 2017 Bahrain Women’s Day, which falls on the 1st of December, will be dedicated to women working in the engineering sector.
The forum will include five sessions focusing on women engineers’ strides, international entrepreneurship initiatives, industrial sustainable development, industry and entrepreneurship and other issues.
The global aims at bolstering women’s promising economic role, highlighting the role of businesswomen in strengthening trade and investment relations with global partners and launch initiatives to develop economic cooperation.
Bahrain ranks among the first countries in the region that highlight women’s success stories and contributions to the sectors of business and economic development.
The forum will be held in cooperation with the strategic partners – which include the Economic Development Board (EDB), Tamkeen, UNIDO, and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), The GCC Federation of Chambers, the Bahrain Development for Training and Human Resources.
The exhibition will open on Monday from 3 to 7 PM, on Tuesday from 10 AM to 7 PM and on Wednesday from 10 AM to 1 PM.
